VQ Gym – Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
Welcome to VQ Gym. By accessing our facilities, purchasing a membership, or using our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
2. Membership
2.1 Eligibility
Membership is available to individuals aged 15 years and over.
Members aged 15–17 may only access the gym during staffed hours.
24-hour access is strictly limited to members aged 18 and over.
Members under 18 may require parental/guardian consent.
2.2 Membership Agreement
Memberships are personal and non-transferable.
Proof of age may be required upon joining.
2.3 Payments
Membership fees must be paid in advance (monthly or annually).
Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of access.
We reserve the right to adjust pricing with reasonable notice.
2.4 Cancellation
Cancellation terms depend on your membership type.
A notice period (typically 30 days) may apply.
No refunds will be issued for unused membership time unless required by law.
3. 24-Hour Access
24/7 access is available only to members aged 18+.
Members must use their personal access credentials (fob/app) to enter.
Access credentials must not be shared.
Any misuse may result in immediate termination of membership.
Members use the gym outside staffed hours entirely at their own risk.
4. Use of Facilities
4.1 Health & Safety
Members must ensure they are medically fit to exercise.
All use of equipment is at your own risk.
Instructions from staff and signage must be followed at all times.
4.2 Conduct
Respectful behaviour is expected at all times.
Abuse, harassment, or unsafe behaviour will result in removal from the gym and possible termination.
Appropriate gym attire must be worn.
4.3 Equipment
Equipment must be used correctly and returned after use.
Members may be charged for damage caused by misuse.
5. Classes & Bookings
Classes may require advance booking.
Missed bookings or late cancellations may result in penalties.
We reserve the right to change class schedules or instructors.
6. Personal Belongings
Lockers are provided for convenience only.
All belongings are stored at your own risk.
VQ Gym accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
7. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VQ Gym is not liable for:
Injury sustained while using the gym (except where caused by negligence)
Loss or damage to personal property
8. CCTV
CCTV operates throughout the facility for safety and security.
Footage may be used for incident investigation and crime prevention.
9. Website Use
Website content is for general information only.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate membership without refund if:
These terms are breached
Access is misused (e.g. sharing entry credentials)
Behaviour is unsafe or inappropriate
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of VQ Gym constitutes acceptance of any updates.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
